I'm on Storywrite, as epic Ninja, and want to post this fanfiction I made. Hope you fans like it
Oswald leaped silently into the projector screen; Ostown shone with little light from the false moon. The rabbit stopped himself as he was thrown out of the script. His paws scraped the ground as he landed in a crouching position. Thankfully, he had gloves on.
Oswald knew today was the day he and Mickey would finally be able to see eachother; the spring air was soothing. Without hesitation, the rabit climbed up the statue of him and Walt holding hands. It was a prized possession of his. Oswald reached the shoulders of the tall Walt figure, sitting patiently as an arm swooped in to claim him.
The statue was the most noticeable, despite it's height compared to the buildings of Mean Street. The rabbit was gently set down on the wooden table holding Wasteland. Of course, Yensid kept the thinner and paint as far away from him as possible.
"Hi, Yensid. How much time do I have?" Oswald asked. He didn't have the one thing he longed so dearly for- a heart. This made time limited in the world he left so long ago.
"Only ten minutes. Hurry." The rabbit nodded, then raced around the corner, feebly dashing to climb on top of the fireplace.
"Hey, let me go!" Oswald protested as he felt a flesh of skin on his back lift. Yensid dropped him on top. He was pushed roughly into the mirror, the spell removed. He toppeled, with a gasp, onto Mickey's bed.
"Oswald!" the familiar, cheerful voice of his brother made him jump. His head bumped the wooden side, as he landed, making him groan. Oswald saw two Mickeys as dizziness settled in. He sat up, a small lump on his forehead, and leaned on the wall. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." The rabbit shooked his head, then looked at him. "Hi, Mickey!"
"Heh, it's great to see ya again!" Mickey full-heartedly. Oswald almost smiled in delight. His brother blinked, then gave the rabbit a tight hug. "What are you doing here?" Mickey asked in his ear. Then the mouse gasped, "You have a heart!?"
"No, I don't," Oswald replied, looking into his eyes. "We've got to make this quick, or I'll turn to dust..."
"Oh," Mickey trailed off, then placed his on the side of his jaw in thought.
"Mickey, I think I have a chance at fame..." the rabbit admitted outloud after a minute or two. He sat a little closer to his brother, putting his arms on his shoulders. "This may be my year, Mickey...."
"Maybe...," his brother sighed. "So, how is Wasteland?"
"Everything's perfect. Of course, Big Pete is trying to steal Ortensia," Oswald tapped his foot angrily as they dangled from the bed. "But Horace is having more costumers."
"He used to try to impress Minnie," Mickey narrowed his eyes. "What a desperate guy."
"I know," Oswald agreed, then sighed, "I've ought to go, Mickey..."
"Oh!" His brother grabbed his hand and leaped off the bed, walking to the mirrior. "I guess I'll see ya later... I'll miss you."
"Me, too," Oswald replied, paused, and asked, "Do ya think I'll make it? I mean, you know how it is..."
"Sure ya will!" Mickey supported, smiling. "Oswald, your comeback will be epic."
Oswald's ears dropped as he signed. Then he looked at the mirrior and leaped on the dresser, turning to look at his brother below.
"Until next time, mouse..." Oswald couldn't help but be jealous of Mickey's love. He knew he was fortunate for being a boyfriend to Ortensia and a rolemodel to 420 adopted bunny children, but they would have to be famous to see a real sky, or a real sun and moon; all of those things he and Ortensia hadn't seen in so long, and the bunny kids probably had no memory of....
"You're the lucky rabbit, Oswald. And I'm a very lucky mouse for having you," Mickey said. For the first time that night, Oswald smiled.
